Yes! Santa Claus Hire Newcastle has only one professional Santa, so you’ll always get the same friendly, authentic Santa you see in our photos — not a rotation of different performers.

How long does a visit last?

Most visits run for 30–60 minutes, depending on your event size and activities. Longer appearances can be arranged for large community or corporate functions.

Where does Santa travel to?

Santa is located in Newcastle NSW Australia and visits events right across Newcastle and surrounding areas, including Lake Macquarie, the Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Port Stephens. If you’re unsure, just ask — Santa loves a road trip!

What happens during a home visit?

Santa will need a private space to get ready, then will greet the children, lead a few Christmas carols, tell magical stories and hand out gifts that parents or grandparents provide in advance.

When should I book Santa?

Bookings open mid-year and fill quickly from September onwards. The earlier you enquire, the better chance you have of securing your preferred date and time.

Can Santa hand out presents?

Absolutely. You simply label and have them ready — Santa will deliver them straight from his “North Pole” sack.

Will Santa pose for photos?

Yes! Santa is always happy to take photos with children, families and even pets — just have your camera or phone ready.

Can Santa host our Kris Kringle or awards?

Of course! Santa is the perfect MC for gift exchanges, raffles or handing out staff awards — all with his signature warmth and humour.

Do you provide other performers or elves?

We focus on one professional Santa to maintain authenticity and quality. However, we’re always happy to work alongside your chosen performers or event team. We also collaborate with local community theatres that can provide additional Christmas characters or performers to enhance your event — just let us know when you enquire. And on special occasions, we can sometimes persuade Mrs Claus and a few cheeky elves to make an appearance too!
